Fall 2026 Most Anticipated Anime Rankings

The Fall 2026 anime season is almost here, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has been voted as the most anticipated show of the season. It took 16.42% of the votes, narrowly beating The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, which ranked second with 15.16%. Blue Box Season 2 placed third with 6.29%.

There was only a 1.26 percentage point difference between the top two, while both had a significant lead over the rest of the ranking. Black Clover Season 2 followed in fourth place with 5.47%, with The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 rounding out the top five at 4.30%.

A total of 7,601 people participated in the poll, which was open from September 9 to September 24.

As always, these rankings are based on votes from our community and are meant to show which titles are generating the most interest ahead of the season. They should not be taken as a definitive indication of which shows will be the best, and we encourage you to check out anything that interests you regardless of its ranking.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 together received 31.58% of the votes, making them the clear standouts ahead of the Fall 2026 season. The gap between second and third place was 8.87 percentage points.

Among the rest of the top 10, Firefly Wedding was the highest-ranked new anime at sixth place with 3.30%, followed closely by Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 at 3.24%. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run 2nd – 3rd STAGE, and The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 completed the top 10.
